Isabelle, you are a rock star. I’m just heartbroken to hear that we’ve lost one of the good ones. Honestly, I can say without hesitation that it was an honour and a privilege to work with you. You were so damn genuine—kind, honest, and completely no-nonsense—which made you truly wonderful.
You saved so many( and I mean that). You impacted so many students. You had this incredible mix of gentle charisma and fierce determination, and there was just so much goodness in you. No pretense, no bullshit—just real, raw dedication to the people you helped.
You were never on my shit list, beautiful lady, and I am forever grateful to have had the privilege of working with you and knowing you. I am so, so sorry for your wonderful family. I just want them to know how extraordinary we thought I you ( I’m sure they know already ;) —rock star, legend, lifesaver. Your work kept kids alive, and that matters.
The world lost someone special. Rest easy, Isabelle. You made a difference.❤️

Isabelle was pure kindness and loveliness. She will always be loved and live on through love. All love to JB, their children, and entire family.

I first met Isabelle when I was an undergraduate studying French, and I was so fortunate to get to work with her more closely years later when she supervised my PhD. She was such a kind, generous, and supportive supervisor, and I will always be grateful to her for that. My thoughts are with her family during this time of unimaginable grief and mourning. R.I.P Isabelle, and thank you.
